Hi all, My name is George, I am a CFR with Garlieston, Whithorn & Sorbie Group in south west scotland, we've been going a couple of years now but recruitment is pretty grim here, we started strong but now only have 4 active responders, not ideal for the area we cover but the loyal few keep it going.

Hi to all. To be honest, I am a little premature to join this forum as I am still going through the application process to become a CFR. I am hoping to join the team in the South Cotswolds very soon. Anyway, good to be here....

Hi, I am Ian and have recently become a CFR in the Milton Keynes area. I have previously been with the St John Ambulance and also British Red Cross. Our group is run in conjunction with the South Central Ambulance service and covers Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire.

Welcome Calvew and good luck with the fundraising. Don't forget to contact the British Heart Foundation and ask re match funding for your defib, they may be able to help. It's about the right time of year for this now, so don't hesitate. You need to speak to their rep, which may well be Jane Palmer.

Hi, I'm Gary and i'm a Neighbourhood Warden who deals with everything from Low level crime to talking in schools etc. I have just set up a CFR group in my area of Manchester in conjunction with my employer & the Northwest Abmulance service, were we work as Wardens who also respond to CFR calls and apparently its the first of its type in the country, so its all exciting and nerve racking at the same time.
Anyway, I just thought I'd pop in and say Hi......... Erm...... Hi lol
