Hi I am John and am a responder and CFR Trainer with WMAS in the Coventry and Warwickshire locality responding from my home in Gaydon - jnct 12 M40. I train our responders in FPOS Basic and Intermediate, PADS sites, various schools, and doctors surgeries. We have built up a small training team to assist us as we have over 360 responders in our locality. I am always impressed by the quality of our responders and their dedication and as a rule they get on fine with the crews.

Hi, I am Ali. I am CFR with what was Staffs Ambulance Service, and is now part of West Mids. I cover a rural village location and the outlying areas. Aswell as being a Responder I am a qualified Radiographer, and in years gone was a Veterinary Nurse. I am not working at present, so I respond most days of the week.

Hi to all the new ladies and gentleman that have posted and thanks very much for joining the forum. It's starting to look good now and there's some interesting comments regularly being posted. Thanks to everyone that has contributed so far and keep 'em coming! And yes, there seems to be a lack of female members on here, if you know any female responders, get them to register!!

Hello all, I'm Co-ordinator for one of the groups based in Suffolk. I've been Co-ordinator since our group set up in July 07 and when i'm not "respondering", working or spending some family time with my wife and son I also crew an Ambulance for my local division of St John, which I have done for 14 years.

Hi, I'm Bernie from Ogmore Valley, South Wales. We've only been 'live' since March 09, so the local ambulance crews and people are still getting used to us being around!
